First Look ~ Bloom

A love note to the spring awakening, to the first buds of hope, to the bloom that happens when the weather warms, rain falls, and abundant flora reopens. Nothing in nature blooms all year and just like a precious spring flower, we too have different seasons of rest, new potential and blooms. Here’s to the moments that feel good, that feel like us, that remind us of who we really are. Nothing in life is easy yet the moments that feel like a blossoming are that much sweeter because of the seasons of rest, healing, and renewal.

We shot our Spring campaign, Bloom deep within the Virginia forests overlooking the mountains with the wildflowers and bees. In fact, we had a little bee friend who loved resting on our hands and even Hannah’s nose during our shoot reminding us to be patient, calm, and collected in the face of challenges and fear. We spotted the gorgeous Barred Owl known to represent intuition, wisdom, and transformation. This shoot felt like a whirl of symbolism and signs from nature from the wind in the trees, to the relentless bee friend, to the owl’s call and flight.
