FILM: Desert Dreaming

We at Malabella Jewels are ecstatic to present our very first film!

Desert Dreaming has been Malabella’s own dream in the making for the past year. It began with the desire to capture our jewels in motion and like our business, the film took root and began to grow and evolve, channeling our creative ideas into a living lookbook that beautifully demonstrates the spiritual essence of Malabella.

Desert Dreaming captures a day in the life of a yogini whose desert wanderings help her to connect with her self, her intentions, and the majestic, arid landscape around her. We chose Joshua Tree National Park in southern California for its welcoming sense of solitude, as well as its gorgeous rock formations and iconic Joshua trees. Ellen Humphreys, LA yogini and artist, is our creative muse, and we were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her. Film creator and director Oleg Bolotov brought an incredible perspective to the piece, and we are delighted to share his work. Malabella is honored to have been able to collaborate with such amazing and inspired talent, and we thank Ellen and Oleg for breathing life into Desert Dreaming.
